Interesting that Kirubi increased his stake over the same period...

0.03= 187974
0.02=?

0.02*187974/0.03= 125316. Something like that...

I am at the AGM and the MGT has been bashed by no dividend policy and lapse on compliance.
Issue settled now on explanation by MD.
Centum was charged 50k by CMA and the amount was paid by Directors.

Convincing! Mmm may be.
Same land valuations case of figures obtained just after Audit.
The guy also quoted so much IFRS and hence some shareholder's started to refer to the AGM as 'this class'

50K?Sad A drop in the ocean compared to the value of information!
Can u imagine how much the directors could have made, or wanjikus lost in terms of capital depreciation?
So all one needs as a director is 50K to make millions?
CMA needs to think BIG!
I couldnt have thought of anything less than 10 millionSad

He left Mhasibu Investment Company Ltd (MICL) one of the most active OTCs and had insignificant shareholding if any, He sold half of his shareholding in Centum. He has exposed us to a fine and it was paid with our funds..... that explanation is upuzi.

My argument! Just like Miguna Miguna was a student of Raila, James Mworia is a good student of Chris Kirubi.

He should go! and maybe a guy like Mugo Kibati can come on board (wishful thinking)

And the board shared the amount? So less than 10k each? And they probably organised an emergency meeting (with sitting allowances greater than the fine!) to 'discuss' this issue. In the end, the fine most likely ended up producing a NET GAIN for the directors. Haha! You gotta love it! By the way, utadu?

you see, when a CEO is in the public all for the wrong reason; painting the company bad, then in a short while he is selling his stake in the same, it takes an average thinker that someone somewhere is no happy and he is being chased silently!!

So shareholders lose 500million in market value & the directors pay 50k for the error..

Wow I can really see how much the CMA values Kenyan investors!

Isnt there a property index of some kind in kenya?? This should be sufficient for our argument..

I like your reasoning re : is 50k the value of perfect information? Some insiders will have made a killing due to the boards omission.
