Th statements by hamburger lack tolerance, are abusive n amt to hate speech n if put in a political context wld lead to violence

You keep throwing around words like violence and wonder why religions are eternally at war with each other....Because of people like you that can't have a religious discourse without resorting to violence....Only theists think violently, anything against their gods and it's a war....And you wonder why we will never have world peace, it's because of theists like you and this kind of thinking...That anybody that speaks against your god deserves violence....Give me a break, violence over what??....Only small minds resort to violence when they can't handle losing a debate....Why again would this talk lead to violence? You theists and your violence....Al qaeda, al shabaab, catholics and protestants in Northern Ireland, Muslims and Christians in Nigeria (actually, all over the world), Jews and Palestinians....What's the common denominator in all these people that are killing each other everyday???? You got it......Religions and non-existent gods....... [/b]

On a side note, these pastors are soon going to fleece theists of everything they have.....They are taking theists to the cleaners at an alarming rate...Now we have pastors colluding with street workers to perform "miracles" so as to extort more money from gullible theists...I feel sorry for you people of god. I honestly do and that's why am trying to make people open their eyes here.

Tokyo, the pastor might make my mouth crooked like the one of that street worker..lol....That might be worse than elephantiasis....Why are these pastors so inhumane anyway?? They are always stealing from people who don't even have enough money to spare in the first place and people who completely believe in them to help them out of their problems...

It's really heartbreaking to see innocent people get victimized like this...That's the worst kind of betrayal, for a desperate person to come to these pastors with all the hope in the world that the pastor will help them out of their difficult situations, only for these pastors to steal their hard-earned money perfoming shady "miracles" and compunding their problems...Just very upsetting what these pastors do to gullible theists.

@Humburger and @Tokyo, just know that because you judge, you too shall be judged! If only you choose to love more, maybe somehow, you might as well win over some theists your way. But certainly not the way you are going.
Wisdom has to do with speaking/talking less and hearing/listening more.
If you get some time out of your busy schedule, i'd suggest you read desiderata(you can google it) and therein, you'll find the answers to your questions!

And should you choose to reply to this post, please don't write a lot of stories/literature in bold, just keep plain and simple! It helps!

Philanga, I don't need to read anything because I really don't have any questions about my atheism...I am 5000% happy with my way. Like I always say, to each their own....I am not judging anybody, I don't care about how anybody else lives their lives...You theists are the ones killing gay people and telling us atheists that we will burn eternally in hell..So maybe you are the ones that are judging..

The main problem that I have with you religious people is that you are putting my life in danger while you fight each other over non-existent gods....I don't want to be collateral damage over some stupid stuff...I can't even walk the streets of Nairobi without fearing that some psycho will blow shit up because of his religios convictions...You are never going to hear that atheists are in a war with some religion over gods...We are smarter than that...We are not as weak minded, violence is for weak minded people, nothing good ever comes out of violence and that is what atheists are trying to tell you religious people, that your non-existent gods are causing more harm to the world than they are doing good....It's time people stopped the madness and started using logic instead of blind faith....Maybe it's time to look at the pathetic state of the world and ask yourself if there really was a god, is this the way he wants his "children" to live??????

Wisdom has to do with speaking/talking less and hearing/listening more.

That statement is just cliche....It doesn't make sense....Every adage is meant to provoke your conscience and it's up to you to figure out if it makes sense or not...I can dispell a lot of adages that we were taught in primary school when our minds were still immature. Now that I have more experience and the capability to reason, I don't just agree to an adage just because it's what we were taught in primary school...I am wise enough to discount things like "asiyeskiza la mkuu huvunjika mguu" and other silly methalis like that...We all know that wakuus are not always right...You can skiliza wakuu and still end up breaking the proverbial mguu, or two....I automatically believed all these methalis in primo, but not now that am an adult, I question things before I let myself believe...I am not an easy sell, and that's why I am an atheist, I refuse to buy into this god of theists because I question his existence....So, back to your point, wisdom is wisdom, you either have it or you don't, it doesn't have to do with speaking/talking less and hearing/listening more, you can hear/listen more and still never find wisdom....

Some things like wisdom are inherent in some people, so listening more and talking less is just a cliche that you are using blindly.....I can talk all day, that doesn't mean that an idiot who is listening all day is wiser than I am...It's all relative...Stop buying into these old cliches, ask questions, question the validity of the adage.....Don't just fall for words because they sound intelligent and sexy. That's how people get conned by these smooth talking snake oil scambugs who are equipped with a gift of garb (Pastors ring a bell?)....People are conned by falling for sexy cliches like what you just quoted above. Wisdom is wisdom, you either have it or you don't speaking less, hearing more is hogwash, will not determine how wise or unwise you end up. You can have 50 wise men talk to a nitwit everyday for a full year and the nitwit will still remain a nitwit at the end of the day...Wisdom or the lack thereof comes from within.

Why is this thread still running? Of course, Safcom is trusted more than the church... millions trust that by sending an M-PESA message to their friends, that it will translate to handing money over to them. Contrast this with 'Pastor' Michael Njoroge of the shoti moja fame.. what are we still discussing?

Now this is becoming ridiculous, I dont like half truths. So far you have attributed everything good to atheism and everything bad to theism. According to you, the advances in science and medicine are attributed to atheists!!! You and I both know thats a lie. You are constantly blaming God for actions of man, I will again let you know that there is a big ddifference between God and religion, blaming actions of pastors on God is very far fetched. It is ok to believe what you believe in, but dont make a mockery of what others believe in. You said "we are not weak minded, violence is for weak minded people" I will have you know that Lenin, Stalin, Mao Zedong, Pol Pot, Georges Clemenceau, Mussolini, Jose Gaspar Rodriguez de Francia were all atheists source http://en.wikipedia.org/...politics_and_law#Africa

Pride comes before a fall, the earth was here years before you got here and it will be here years after, so to think you have all the answers figured out is not wisdom.
I will chance to say that George Bush is an undercover atheist, your logic that atheists dont condone violence is not true.
