Premio any day. Especially the 2007 model. Buy 1.8 or 2L the 1.5 is a joke. Engine to small to carry that body so it kunywas more long distance.

Thanks guys...premio it is!!! I am ever grateful for your kind resposes.

I am not sure that Premio is any better than Wish.

In pure performance terms, the wish should outperform the premio any day. again in looks the wish would outdo the premio. passenger capacity, the wish would outdo the premio. side mirror susceptibility to theft, the wish loses on that count but chain them like everyone else does. Take off and overtaking speeds, the wish would outdo the premio (these are important for safety reasons!).

I am no expert but having hired and driven both models, I would recommend the Wish.

Hehehe.

No. In terms of take off, it's all about what's under the bonnet. I bet you drove the 1.5L premio. (i.e. the F spec, vs the X and G)

Wish comes in 1.8 and 2.0L guises which are shared with the Premio X and G respectively (the 1ZZ-FE and 1AZ-FSE engines), so power and torque are out of the window.

7 seater vs 5 seater. Personal preference. My old school thinking is that of 7+ seating being the reserve of full size SUVs or vans :)

Looks are rather subjective, since I wouldn't be seen driving a Wish.

Applause exactly! since they share and engine and other things then the difference comes in their response to the laws of physics where Wish loses big time because of its perceived "advantages"

If wishes were premio

Guys I hope that even as you recommend the Premio, you have driven both models.

As for the Premio vs Wish looks, my take on the Premio is that its shape suggests that Toyota aimed to produce a poor man's imitation of a Benz. Its a wanna be car!
