Let's not complicate SK.

A.If a top contributor on SK forums started his/her own blog would I read it? Yes....Would I pay for it,No.

B. If a qualified leader in the investment banking sector started a blog,would I read it? Yes....would I be willing to pay for it,yes.

Contributors give info,analysis and speculation because they feel they have something to offer those who are lacking....we don't go to them and ask for their opinions,if we did then we'd be willing to pay them for that service.

In order for contributors to be paid,you must all be willing to pay to view SK...

@ Njung'e,you have got it absolutely right,this should be considered a knowledge exchange site.

For example I have not heard Jammo asking to be compensated for the very,very incisive and excellent posts he/she puts up.

C'mon guys we are better then some of the comments that have been made here.

There is a saying 'the wealthiest place in the world is the cemetery' because there lie people who had knowledge,vast knowledge which could have been of benefit to many,but did nothing with it.
