Mutula Kilonzo's status update:

"I actually admire the viguor, humour and backlash of Kenyans especially on the Social media concerning my statement on the Mini=skirts in schools issue.I will make a statement soon but to all Kenyans whom i love so much,no pun intended especially to Nuns or the Kenyan public in general. My point was that Education is in the mind and not clothing, and by mini skirts,i actually meant Knie-leangth to be precise. The mini-skirt furore has actually surpassed the Miguna jokes on the web(Twitter,Facebook and Google-plus) Thanks you Kenyans for the online back lash smile"

School outfitters has recalled all the long skirts in circulation, this is in line with Hon. Mutula Kilonzo's yesterday directive for the girls not to be looking like nuns!

Gone are the days when Dads would go to their daughter's school and without even batting an eyelid, tell them.. 'Kama ni mini skirt mnataka, vaeni,na mjilipie fees'.. Eh,tough times we had during our days! We went to school in those long ugly skirts and turned out pretty well.. Where are the Parents to these children?Do they have a say in all this? Do they have authority over their daughters?

Very good question..... na umekuwa wapi dada? Ama baridi ilifukuza wewe?
