Probably for 2010, the returns for 2011 are yet to be processed...

chaka;as far as i know KRA has not been quick on tax refunds, but the pressure is bearing fruits.ok.i assume you have been filing your returns on time (by 30th june) with all the details of your mortgage online or 'manually'.if not, it will be an uphill task to get the refunds.i saw someone suggesting on this site that you can even visit them (18th floor? am not sure).CAN THE EXPERTS ON TAX MATTERS PLEEEA...ASE HELP US.

@pilgrimage, I have faithfully filed my returns "manually" on time all documents provided i.e mortgage statement, mortgage certificate(originals),Form P9 and bank details provided. I don't have the time to visit 18th floor and I suspect that these people don't process the refunds on purpose so that you are forced to use the services of a "broker"...for obvious reasons

Make sure you include you bank account details. You will get your refund in a few months. I had a similar issue five years ago and that's what I did. they paid back my 68k in about three months.

Best to hand deliver... and carry a copy so that they can stamp it "RECEIVED"
