That woman is multitasking.
She may choose to do it elsewhere and limit herself to ironing only or use the kitchen to iron, make tea, clean up,come up with dinner menu, so much one can do in the kitchen.
I believe she is ironing very clean clothes not dirty underwears or sweaty shirts.

You could be right. There is a chance that she was just multitasking and absentminded.

Woke up n found my other half ironing clothes in the kitchen on the kitchen worktop I thot it was abit disgusting, while she couldn't get why I was creating a fuss. Is it only me. Who gets my drift? Am I overreacting? I thought kitchen is for cooking only. Leave alone the worktop,

@samdoe. You are overreacting. The clothes being ironed are clean for heaven's sake, cleaner than most of those small cloths in that kitchen.

Why would iron your underwear[not vests] anyway?

@Butterflyke where I come from, when a girl decide to get married the maternal aunt is always there to give advice to the girl.

The girl should always remember a man has three stomach'(s)

1. the first one is Mdomo (communication is vital always feed him with sweet words )
2. the second, is the the real stomach (a man will always appreciate a good meal
3. You guess the third one right (A woman should always be ready for her man, (mombasa raha.)

Really? I'd have a big problem too having clothes being ironed in the kitchen... and on the working table. it wouldnt work for me.

So @Wendz where does that leave @samdoe? You're lady, it's his wife, and he has a problem with this too.

Possible solutions
1. Synchronize waking times to coincide.. 'Highway' ni muhimu
2. Feeling disgusted in the morning.. refer to number 1. But don't use bypass
3. Waking up to the Kitchen.. Stop sleeping in the kitchen or its time to move house. Hako ka-nyumba ni kadogo
4. Worktop in the kitchen? Refer to number 3
5. Creating a fuss? Anza kuandika orbituary.. Stress ama Panga; I would pick the later, its quicker

It means he's normal and there are others who would find it awkward... he asked if he is overreacting and in my opinion, he's not... Chances are, i'd have mentioned my discomfort with it too... True i am a lady, but i wouldnt iron in the kitchen leave alone the kitchen work-table.

Prob is, may be this @samdoe keeps asking for landing rights every morning when she's ironing so its a way of 'running' away from the morning ritual......Anxious Anxious (no, i didnt say that)
