I remember it was only split 20 times. Obviously they created more shares from those that were there in 2007 or thereabouts, but I do not remember the 100 times split. May be you are confuding with Coop bank.

If they only split 20 times, then they must have created a whole lot of shares. A quick glance at FY2009 accounts reflects 21,398,750 participating/issued shares versus about 2.2B as at lising![/quote]

Very true, they created more shares after the second placement. They realised that individuals had taken up more shares than the sacco socities, so they created more shares and offered them to saccos at 27. Thereafter, they split by 20.
