After the 2002 elections, Kenyans were officially ranked the most optimistic people in the world. If we are pessimistic now, it's for a good reason. We didn't just wake up one morning and decide to be pessimists. Experience my sister!!!

We have the capacity to be the most optimistic in the world, the most pessimistic in the world or anything in between. The prevailing reality dictates where we are.

Simple. This is what we call Standard Operating Procedure(s) [SOPs]. In Kenya, to protect you criminal past [and present] you either get "saved" and start a church or go into politics. Given the gravity of Njenga's criminality he had to do both. The issue of whether he will ultimately run is a non-issue at the moment. He's already being referred to as a "politician" as opposed to [former???] Mungiki leader. Mission accomplished!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Getting involved with this guy is incredibly dangerous. One question @essyk, ...would you stand by idly and watch if it was your sister (or daughter) that this guy had seduced into marriage?

I seem to recall reading somewhere that his first wife was brutally executed by some people. There is an ominous darkness and danger that lurks around this guy ...she would do well to run very fast and very far ..
