@ Maichblack! Maybe form a trustee; giving everything to the kids who are under age is no solution as the wealth will require an administrator. In the absence of a will, the surviving spouse is considered the administrator.

Na hiyo will ndio nasema lazima ikuwe!!! No matter how much [less] you have, a will is VERY important.

Any lawyers in the house? Easiest way to do a binding will?

I once started a thread on wills and I was surprised by the reaction of wazuans - some imagining they are not rich enough to do a will. See links below:

@MaichBlack I think it has to be done. Did you succeed in completing yours? What are the challenges and tips to bear in mind? And would you mind sharing the format on email?

I am ashamed to say I haven't. And it has been more than 2 1/2 years since I started the thread. It is always in the list of "things to do" without being allocated time. I really should do it once and for all!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

@MaichBlack don't worry, most of us are guilty of procrastination; always updating today's ToDo list with yesterday's

If it is your [kids] wealth be re-distributed, then you wouldn't be laughing. But then again, maybe you will be the one doing the re-distribution!

I take some things personally because I am a parent. When I push myself to the limit and feel like I am too exhausted to continue, I just think about my daughter and push myself some more. I want her to have the best in life. I don't want her to one day have to choose between school fees, piano lessons and swimming lessons just because I can only afford one! The thought of some punk a$$ negro benefiting from my hard work while my kid(s) suffer is totally nauseating!!! I might just slap a random person right now to go back to normal! I'd hate to see it happening to my kids and I hate it when I see it happening to ANYONE'S kids.
