Sad
Still recovering.Read if u got the energy and share urs.

This morning at 6.30 am I was woken up by a loud knock on my door. Now only the garbage guy knocks that way on sunday but not that early.
Then I thought, suppose it was an emergency? How long have they knocked cz I slept like I was in coma.Checked my phone, no missed calls.
I jumped out of bed and ran down to the gate.
Asked for identification and opened on hearing a girl's voice.
Hi,How can I help? I asked.
Jeez behind her were 2 tall gun totting cops!! with AK 47 dangling from their shoulders.
I thought omg this must be some very very sad news.Oh God.Pray

The cops identified themselves and asked 'Madam. Wewe ni Lorraine??
Huh!who?? since when now. Who's is lorraine, what has she done and why in my house.Pray

The poor girl had led cops to my place claiming I was one Lorraine, married to some guy called Edu and the funny part? I *lorraine* had stolen her mobile phone'!!Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly. The reaon they had come to arrest me. Pray

Gosh!! One look at the AK47's and I immediately became a stammerer. My knees almost gave way.
There are 4 places I hate so much.
The police station, the hospital, the courts and the morgue. I try my best not to find myself in any of these places except hospital if I am visiting a friend.

I gathered courage, looked at the confused girl with uncombed hair and asked for her name plus if she has ever set eyes on me since I hadn't!The last time I dealt with housegirls was 7 years ago.
This girl insisted that she knew me and that I was Lorraine!
At this point,I started feeling some primitive energy build up in my body.I became the interogattor now while the cops watched.
I asked her what made her believe I was Lorraine and her answer? It's cz Lorraine together with her hubby edu lived in the same house I live in.Eish.
The cops at this point asked how long I had lived in the hao and I told them I was in my 3rd year.
I asked the girl to try the next house and she said with attitude 'why should I if it is here'. Haiya. More shocks.
Serikali asked me if I knew Edu and I told them that the guy who occupied the house before I entered to my knowledge was a senior bachelor and I don't know even know his name unless I get it from the landlady. He was those 'frequent fliers kind of fellows' and no he wasn't even married!

The girl then tells the cops that Edu and wife lorraine *me* had lived in this house for one month only before moving out!
I was like are u discombobulated? Who made u smoke caterpillar hair!! leaving u so confused?
The cops nt knowing what to do left confused probably wondering on which door to knock next.
He was kind enough to help me lock the gate and apologised.smile

Just thinking how it would have been like if the girl was a hardcore criminal.

the L and R in that name if given to some people could be big problem to pronounce.
Those who follow the crowd usually get lost in it

But U never know wht the girl had told them or described 'lorraine' so they had to come prepared.

And especially if the cop happened to be a GEM....He/she would have pronounced name Lorraine as .....'Rori-ini" (In the lorry)smile
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
