WHAT'S WRONG WITH TUSKER? Something is wrong with the popular Kenya Breweries’ Tusker lager, says bar owner Mark Mwenje, concerned about increasing complaints by his patrons that the drink has lately been spilling over from the bottle on being opened. “It is difficult explaining to customers why the beer pours out. Some now claim that the quality has gone down. The other day, I opened one, and the stuff gushed out. We had to give the fellow one on the house. Can KBL explain what is going on?” urges Mark, whose contact is mmwenje27@gmail.com.

Have an enjoyable day, won’t you!.

My policy is to never drink whisky, vodka or brandy in a pub - besides becoming incoherent faster, proprietors have been known to ehhhh, reblend whiskies with cheaper brands, subtly so that the drinker will not tell ...black label 12 inaongezewa red label kidogo tu ...say a third, then you are charged the price of the black.

I wouldn't consider my regular pub a funny place, I have known those barmen for years - but a Jameson double tasted distinctly different from the store full-bottle variety. My complaining only had the guy fighting back viciously - wasn't worth it. I let it slide. If you trust you bar/barman, more power to you - you sound a bit snobbish by the way, presuming that I don't know my drink or wherever it is you drink they are absolutely above reproach.

Actually, Quicksand has a point! There is a wise saying amongst a certain tribe that is a specialist in drinking whiskey: "never buy black label in a bar".

90% of black label in whichever bar is tainted...stick to red and enjoy black at home...pure!

That is a proven fact that they mix drinks regardless of how high class your bar is. Those bar men are very crafty, we are all crafty at our work/desks. you must get know how to make extra bucks and get away with it. it will only pass if you tip the barman handsomely, but then that again is a drinking cost.

If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.

Tusker is really popping and frothing. Saw waiter hitting the bottle cap kidogo with a key before they open the bottle eti to reduce the frothing. My cold whitecap was also unusually frothy. The yeast being used by EABL must be on steroids.
