"The students complained that the new purple uniform is too long, ugly and not meant for their age.The girls are said to have cut their skirts to their desired length, only to attract the wrath of the deputy head".

...Is the length of the dress affecting their self esteem and hence their concentration levels... The principle should allow them to cut them to this level...

1.-It's second term
2.-It's cold
3.-Pupils are broke
4.-It's exam time
5.-Mole concept is stress.

Quote:
The strike was said to have been hatched by form three students who were agitated by the introduction of the new uniform.

If the teacher threw in visiting day while this was brewing she would have prevented this.
Leave the skirt aside.

I think students have too muchg freedom, parents are not taking thier resposibility serious and teachers hands are tied too much at the back. During my days, this was unheard of. Kwanza gals.

At this rate, i want to be a teacher.

And they expect to reach form 4???? At this rate wengi wao hawata rudi shule come january if they are left to have their say. I think parents have become too liberal with their children. In my time one didn't have a say in the type of uniform, we put on whatever was shoved at us.
