Where did these Weapons of Mass Destruction originate from?
I have had my head hit left, right, centre esp in in public bus or while standing on queue.I now have dents on my head.
What 's worse?,the carriers don't even seem to realise the aftermath of the destruction Sad

The one habit I have never understood is why a lady would carry a sealed bottle of water by hand while the humongous bag is empty.
So much space u can actually fit a baby plus its cot inside.

This is what;
The wear and tear from heavy handbags is making your body old before it's time.

1.‘Heavy man-bags — weighing, on average, 6.2 kg — put unbalanced strain and stress on the body, which can lead to pain, poor posture and health problems,’

2.When you carry a bag, your neck naturally leans away from the load to help carry and balance the weight.
This causes tension on the carrying side of the neck and compression on the opposite side.
‘Craning your neck means increasing the distance between the neck and the shoulder,Over time, this could trigger an ‘acute episode’, he says — the muscles can spasm, restricting movement and causing pain.

3.The shoulder bearing the load is rotated backwards and raised all the time,This affects the muscles running down the upper back, the shoulder blades and those supporting the spine — they tire and spasm.Long term, this can lead to painful arthritis in the facet joints.

4.Carrying a heavy bag can, over time, also cause disc degeneration and prolapse. This is when the soft tissue inside the disc ruptures out of it, pressing on the nerves.‘Bearing a heavy load on one side could also cause the spinal nerves to become irritated or compressed — possibly leading to sciatica (pain in the buttock and thigh), which is also very painful.

5.The nerves in the arms can also become irritated by the pressure of the bag, leading to chronic pain.

6.It will give you athritis, slipped discs and bad knees.

If you love your body, get rid of these dangerous WMD,go light and small.

This is just a case of Wazungu exaggerating things. Nothing will happen to you! Our forefathers used to carry babies, firewood, water Etc and they were just fine.

No they weren't fine.Trust me they weren't.
They suffered athritis, backpains, discs out of place and many other ailments we see them seeking treatment for today in hospitals.
Just cz we didnt know the effect doesn't mean it didn't harm.

And NOTE this also. Our grandparents survived some of these ailments because their natural well balanced diet boosted their immune systems and made them very strong.
Compare that to this burger generation.

Nope they look as if they are carrying potatoes.
only a quarter of stuff in those bags are important.
The rest are excess baggage in the name of fashion.
Some bags are bigger in size than the ladies themselves.

@famooz,yeah maybe. If one has nowhere to sleep then sleep inside that humongous bag cz am sure it's got a pillow.

@famooz, correction it's actually 'sijui nitalala wapi' as the carrier has no idea what the day/night will present.
