The problem with KK deal is some people are using Kestrel Capital's advice that it may be valued at sh 21/share.And I'm not disputing that. But according to Business daily,Kestrel capital is associated with Biwott who is also a majority shareholder of KK.Guys, can't you smell something here??KK's valuation was not done by an independent person.

If you are not disputing the value, you mean that Kestrel has done a professional job despite the dependent issues.... so what should we be smelling? You seem to imply that its over valued yet you do not dispute..... The issue you should be raising to us is if the valuation was professionally done or not.... I have seen other independent (non-Biwott related) valuers stating the value to be 30.... whats your say about this?
Well, if Kestrel says 20-21 they they have info we do not ;-)

I tend to agree with the Kestrel valuation of KK in the region of 20-21, i.e. p/e of approx 10. Add some premium and the price PUMA pays should be around 24 per share.

The loss was expected. Read the Chairman's Statement in the Annual Report.

Supply is increasing for the last two days, demand is fizzling out, Now just the spanner into the works and another sub 15.00 buying opportunity-just a wish.
seems the share is finding itself after the roller coaster rides it had last week.

If you want to opt out of this stock do it at 17-18. But the asking price of the big fish is 21 as they asked for 31 BIG ONES...Verry good bargains for Puma as they priced the company @42B which means @28 but surely that won't reach. So Cash IN now!smile

I am telling people to opt out at those prices because I believe when KK is delisted from the NSE may be next month, the major shareholders will be paid their money and the General who are like 8,000 will be settled at a price of 15.Only if they complain it in court they "might" be settled at 20 and that would be Puma's best price.

Please trade with caution.

Seems Wanjiku is listening too hard to what this guy is saying to an extent of loosing the real picture. Poor Wanjiku

Trading off to a good start. 710,000+ shares traded. Seems the trading is balanced between local & foreign investors.

It looks KK has stuck at levels above 16. I am sure guys were waiting for it at sub 14 levels esepecially after seeing huge supply a couple of days ago and weak demand.

The employees should quit & look for jobs elsewhere if they are not happy.

KK management is keen to ensure there is calm as the transaction progresses.

Why should they quit? They helped build the place to the multi-billion company it is today and they deserve all they can get! I'm behind them 100%.

BBI will solve it

Nonsense. They were PAID for their jobs. NONE of them worked for free. Show me one employee who worked for 'free' and asked only for a payoff when KK was sold.
