@ VVS traditional kikuyu tradition allow a woman to marry another woman. It is usually not sexual .... i think! When people say things are not african what do they mean?? African history is oral history and with the arrival of colonialist most african history,culture and practice was lost due to the missionaries mainly converting and forcing there religion on us! @masukuma ... Kikuyu women who marry do not have to have husbands. Yes they are sometimes barren and the woman they may marry might have children but that is not always the case,it usually for companionship.
