Dear Wazuans;

I have a relative who needs a minor brain surgery to remove a ka-small uvimbe which came as a result ya kuangukiwa na kiti 4 years ago.

In kenya; where can this be done? what is the cost??

Is it cheaper doing outside kenya? - Where and how much is the approximate cost?

Waiting for yoyr valuable replies.

I recommend you go to India. Whispers Son of Soil left us coz of a 'minor brain surgery' done locally.

At a district hospital. Well worth avoiding! But I am sure that it can be done at any of the major hospitals. The cost is another matter all together. In my past life, it used to cost much less to send clients to India than have some surgeries done locally

I know of a doctor who operated on my friend's father with a similar problem (old man had fallen out of a bike and hit a jiwe with his head and after a year or so had started behaving funny, uncontrolled peeing, etc etc.) Operation was done late last year and it costed slightly less than 500k at the MP Shah. The surgeon's name was something like Dr. Kiboi, will post the contact when my my friend's phone is on (he is also a doctor). So there are good doctors for that king of operation locally.
When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.

Got his full names... call MP Shah Hospital and request the contact for Dr. Kiboi Julius Githinji, Neurosurgeon. He mainly operates from this hospital
