Question: Is Puma allowed to buy shares from the NSE when it has announced a Takeover? Or is that Insider Trading since it has looked at the books?

Now it's abit late..

had they bought in as other shareholders and eventually launch a takeover bid it'd have worked probably...unless someone pulled a "Matiba-Carbacid" on them at the end. smile

Awesome, 13.50 and below, im(more) in!!
Mr market hasn't disappointed today. Might be getting euphoric, but at this rate sub 13.00 maybe possible. I like.

If you acquire 25% then you have to announce a Takeover or seek an exemption.

Puma should have bought the 25% cheap leaving them in a sweet spot... then move towards the Takeover

I foresaw this after i read the cautionary yesterday. The price to watch tomorrow is 12.75(10%), if today's events are anything to go by. I love Mr market. you can rarely predict or understand him.

Folks where buying expecting the confirmation price to be known this week, KK statement came and no price confirmation came with it so folks where disappointed=Selling...also after the due diligence their still going to negotiate which means Puma has not settled on a given price yet with the majority shareholders...this one will go down the wire...confirmation price maybe August-September...in fact we need another bidder to come in...looking at Volumes below Kes12.50 might print between now and September.

I agree with folks here looking at 12 bob support.
Bulls will put a spirited fight at that level.

On the charts this thing is overblown...I see a 20-80% retracement from that high of Kes16.7...woow to you if you buying this stock in bucket loads @ 14.5-16.7...speculation does not pay...with those disastrous H1 2012 earnings still on the way where we might not get an interim dividend...Puma is our only saviour...Puma knows this hence the delay tactics...KK still Rocks!!!

@ Sufficiently ........ in earlier threads, i had mentioned that i had KK at 9.5 but sold earlier in the year at 12.55 before PUMA came in. KK is a gem and it had served me will. I bought it 1st time at 48 somewhere in 2003 and i have been in and out several times. I will definately jump in at sub 12, praying praying praying for it at that level.

Conveniently i am illiterate and I don’t know how to create a link in a blog like this one. But even the cautionary statement from KK talked about due diligence by PUMA being done by July (they have not indicated which year so be very careful, Segman can come back and say he meant 2013)

and some guys here think its allot to ask when i say look at charts. Once again the common man has been left holding monkies and foreigners have taken their money and left. But 12.00 should hold any futhure fall coz the index is still very bullish.

LOL, are you serious? I think his "July" is more credible as sometime in July 2012 than a random 20th July.
Anyway, all you need to do is "Copy & Paste" the link (the URL in the address bar) onto the post. We can figure it out from there.
