Garlic farming

I was recently surprised to learn that most garlic(kitunguu saumu)consumed locally is actually imported from china.
Dont we have appropriate climate here to grow it.Or are we sitting on a goldmine.Are there farmers here growing it?

I doubt if you can grow Garlic in Kenya- Don't even try it because you will loose your money and fail miserably.

The crop requires freezing to induce it to form cloves. If you can achieve this in Kenya,success!
