It knows no age barrier.I know of a guy who started bed-wetting at 40+.From a jovial, very friendly and social guy,his life has since changed for bad........and for those of who are parents and have or have had kids who wet their beds into adulthood, are we supposed to kill them?.....Understanding and showing love helps. We all know that those who do not wet beds all their life did not bribe God.

Mimi nilikojoa upto I think class 4 or 5. We used to live in a rural area with a choo ya nje which was about 100 metres from the house..... but back then it felt like 10 kilometres away because of the solid black darkness of the night.... I think nights have become lighter, in all my adult years I have never seen pitch darkness as I saw when growing up or maybe its my eyes that have improved......anyway I don't even know why that was a factor because we could just pee outside the door when it was dark....... anyway most times the way I remember it, it used to start as a dream.. some random unrelated thing like am falling and falling or am running and running and then I am about to fly and then I want to pee and I find a tree and I go under the tree and am peeing and it feels so good to pee, it feels so warm on my bed and then I wake up and am so ashamed, the pee is wet and cold and smelly. I promise to remember to realize next time I want to pee that it is only a dream..........and I don't know how to describe this but up to this day when I dream there is a part of me that knows it is a dream and does not believe what is going on. These days as an adult I still fear to take tea or any other beverage just before bedtime.........
