What is wrong with us kenyans?
I am not 'mourning' like I would a dear member but I am mourning the fact that I knew him as a leader and he had work to do for me as a citizen of this country. Unfinished biz he's left behind.
Thieves die and so do saints everyday but how do u expect us to mourn them when we only come to know them when they lie dead?
If you live a public life, whether clean or not, the very fact that I follow your progress every single day is enough reason to make me 'feel' the loss.
I feel the loss because you have been given the responsibility to look after me as a citizen.
Look at it this way,the pain the family is going through is equal to the pain felt by the poor family after the loss of their loved unknown fellow.
But diff. is,one carried a nation's responsibility while the other did not!
Gauge urself between the two ,whom d u expect the public to mour for more? To whom much is given much is required.
When the chinese president died people were 'forced' to mourn. And all manner of tears were shed. He may not have been the best but he carried a country's responsibility and it was just a proper thing to do.
I dont think am that that stone hearted.
I felt sad when they killed gaddafi cz I know no human being is a saint.
"The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.
