The slide begins today heading sub IPO price... Will be slow the price discovery due to anaemic volumes.
$15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

It will be a slow slide since the sellers have no incentive to sell it at lower prices & buyers have no reason to buy it at 10% lower than the VWAP.

Until it goes to sub-10, I do not see any reason to look at it. I doubt the profits will rise sufficiently in 2012 (over 2011) to merit the current price.

but don't you like Longhorn? You have been raving about it's prospects! Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

I repeat. I have never been interested in owning longhorn.. i was merely pointing out it will not follow the direction of TCL...
Anyway, I find it pricey & wish I could short it... but a pity it's not allowed! What I see is a price that will stagnate since the Sellers are limited while most buyers will stay away unless it goes sub-10

Even if shorting was allowed, you would still be handicaped coz there are no buyers. For instance, total demand today is 2,300 shares against a supply of 160,000 shares. True, Longhorn belongs to sub 10
Well, there is always a sucker! My concern would be the Short Squeeze!

Tru tru. When will our market grow to allow shorting. Some counters would see faster price discovery and bulls and bears would slaughter the pigs BIG TIME

@qw25091985 When will you ever stop thinking and acting like a fool??

Just because i dont buy a stock does not mean i do not like it.. Neither does it mean that its share price will not perform well...

Surely we expect results not profit warnings. The company sells books for Christ's sake. How can accounts take so long????

Net profits soared 600% plus last year. Interesting sales pitch...

Is this feat achievable in going forward? Was it a fluke?

I'd keep off until the H1 2012 results are out to assess the incredible profit rally...

I must say I'm shocked that thing counter is still up there. I was expecting a collapse after the IPO, but I guess the little share float is keeping the price a float. However as @VVS says, the ride will be a slow puncture, slow motion bidless fall.

So LKL traded 200 shares at 16.50 & that to me are trades intended to 'set' a price. Stay far away from this counter until it drops to sub-10 levels. Even at 10, I exercise caution. Look at PER, BV, etc before going in.

Think Neveready, Sameer/Firestone, etc!

600% profit rally turned into a spectacular loss nosedive a fiscal year later.

One centum owns this stock. The same one centum that refused to give a profit warning...

Those in and for longhorn have really been punked!

The 5 year financial statements presented in the IM showed no loss at any one time and displayed dividends in all years. Even H1 2011/12 results in the IM were in profit zone. But i remember we read IM in between the lines and raised red flags.

Those who gave a deaf ear may now drown in the loss and no dividend year!

Centum has a 35% stake in the company.
This points to reduced earnings for Centum come half year.

So they give a profit warning, and 1 week later they post losses.

Beats me this logic of profit warnings, thought all companies do monthly and YTD book-keeping.
