That is a good machine. Will definately serve you for a good 3 years. Being a toshiba i believe thats good value for money. PS: Does toshiba still come with a 3 year international warranty any more??

@ Bird_man,thanks.... bout the look,i have not seen it but hope it al like it. one more think,what term is used to refer to refer high brightness display....

i do not prefer the dull dissplays bt the one with lcd kindof display

A laptop of those specs and that price has to have a bright screen.Depending on manufacturer,you get terms like TruBrite screen etc

That is standard Toshiba screen nowadays. I think it is the best LCD display ever!!
