Div ksh 1.50 per share. Qtr 1 2012 profit growth 22%. Focus still growing asset and liability books.

Share holders approved a final div of ksh. 1.30 which when taken together with the interim div of ksh. 0.20 paid in Oct 2011 brings the total payout for year 2011 to ksh. 1.50 per share(up 10% from div paid 2010).

A judge has stopped City Hall from interfering with Barclays Bank operations after the council threatened to block the entrance to the bank’s two city branches with garbage trucks following a dispute over advertisement billboards.
The bank moved to court after the council threatened to block the entrances to its Queensway and Market branches with the stinking garbage trucks, unless the institution paid Sh30 million allegedly arising from the advertisements.

Yes! BBK paid the ad agency (Blue Something) who had a contract with another ad agency (Magnate) who had a contract with CCN. For CCN to go after BBK is wrong.
