this study is full of crap.
most polygamous men are successful and therefore attract women. if that's stupid so be it. after all those european men have mistresses and prostitutes all over the place they can't be man enough to proudly show them off to the world and keep them with dignity like african men after all i think polygamy men are generally happy than the rest...just my thoughts! >>thank you Ja Zee..

Ure fighting a losing battle. Your beliefs as noble as they are, are obviously not agreeable.

Anyway polygamy will always be there whether we want it or not, the only noble this is to inform the potential wife(s) of the possibility of a 2nd and 3rd rather than do it under the table or string her along then surprise her with a co-wife.

Why are you drawing parallels between cheating and polygamy? non sequitir IHMO. Someone who is polygamous has many wives as far as I understand....and they know that he has other wives...how is he cheating?

That aside, and I have not read the article (and neither will I waste time doing so) but I think to have more than one wife calls for serious wisdom - how to balance needs, budgets, diplomacy, etc etc...(ok lets make an exception of a certain statesman in the southern hemisphere on that continent that lies between Australia and South America).

Its funny that the same society that alows same sex marriages (an abomination), gay clergy (a greater abomination) frowns down upon a harmless practice of having multiple airports to land....NKT!!!

Westerners come and tell us that that polygamy is an outdated practice and we should embrace the modern practices of monogamy and homosexuality.

Nail on the head!! which is the worst of the vices. In the bible, we had men of God with many wives.

I respect a polygamous responsible man with 10 wives more than a monogamous foolish one.
At the end of the day it comes down to how responsible one is as a man not how many wives he has.

Status is just but a tag.
It's what we do with the status we carry that really matters in life.
And leaving a good legacy is what each man should aspire to do. Not having 1 or 99 wives.
