I am watching the national prayer day and I find myself getting infuriated not only at the cost of it all which could have done a lot more towards restoring hope for IDPs, etc rather than filling stomachs, but also that as Kenyans, we somehow continue to cling to the idea that events like this carry more significance in creating change in this country.

I think prayer is important and has it's place, but something about the grandiose nature of this event is getting to me

It has been said that this is not being funded by the government but rather by our MPs and it seems to be forgotten where the MPs get the money from

At Serena listening to Githongo,he has just hit the nail on Ocampo2 and us Kenyans...ati taking our cases to the hague viz a viz rocal courts was a kin to a child refusing syrup/tablet and insisting on injection believing that only injection can heal sickness and not tablets,though painful the injection will work for us Kenyans...Ha ha ha..

American senator has been to Mathare and Korogocho twice. Our president and some MP's present have no clue where that is.
