PLEASE ANYONE IN WAZUA WHO CAN HELP.
I operate a line I bought from someone, today morning the til has been frozen after calling customer care they say the agent is under investigation.

When I go to safaricom they say they can't help because the til is not under my name and I am not an aggregate.I have to talk to my agent who is not picking my calls,I visit the office and its closed.

Even worse when I went to safaricom offices they have told me the money will be sent to the agents account "after investigations are complete".

If they send the money to the agent's bank account am at the agent's mercy for him to return my money to me.

NIFANYE NINI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!

Waah! Makosa imefanyika. Safcom cant deal with you cause you dont exist in their records. Did you enter into a written agreement or contract of sorts with your agent regarding the line?

Seller has been found but very uncooperative.

Further investigations have revealed that safari com is investigating fraud by dealers for their corruption (KK) so they can get mpesa lines.

GOD what do I do? safaricom must have a way to address people like me. A 100k loss in one day yet you have not stolen from anyone.

Is there any lawyer who can suggest a way forward or someone with information on this?

@QW you don't know the pain I feel,Ave cried until I can't cry anymore.

Pole but i insist if the line is under the sellers name convince him that he could be in trouble if he doesnt change the name to u....no one wants to be caught in some scam. Then ensure that u get the money from safcom

QW

You live in Utopia?

Most contracts worldwide are not written and do not have to be. That it is not written doesn't ipso facto mean there is no contract (there are a few legal exceptions).

There are many ways of proving there was an agreement. Just as long as the agreement is valid and legal. Granted, when written proving it might sometimes be easier but not always.

100K is a lot of money but maybe a relatively low amount to battle out over in court with lawyers;relative to the costs and duration of case. That is my opinion.

I agree with those advising you seek help from Safcom. Sometimes the police may help if you can show fraud or obtaining money by false pretences.

Otherwise, I feel your pain. It's horrible. All the best.
