The narrow end is what holds the whole thing together, held by the two mountains with a rift valley in between. Of course the deeper the valley the better held. Seriously I don't know how they come up with these things - it looks like the whole thing would fall off if a standing socket just stood with legs apart! Ukistaajabu ya Musa utaona ya The West!
