So what's this I espied in Sat Nation, good news I'd say, definitely positioning Deacons Kenya for NSE entry. A must attend AGM scheduled for 28-Jun-2012 at 10am.

1.Dividends
1.25/= per share payable to anyone holding shares as at 31-May. Payment date 31-Jul-2012

2.Share Capital
Arrgh, doubled from 32.5m to 61.8m shares

3.Bonus
Yipee! 1:1 one new share for every one held

4.Share Split
Now we are talking! 2:1 every one share subdivided into two

5.Listing
All shares to be listed by introduction to the NSE. [date not indicated]

@youcan'tstopusnow @Hunderwear, following Nov'10 offer at 62.50, I understand not too many OTC trades despite registrar being at CDSC. So not much devaluation due to illiquidity (I hear OTC price 58-60).

Announcement in the papers did not indicate listing price, presuming all the run-around needs to be done for approval by 28-Jun AGM.

What is the listing motive? Cashing out or funds expansions? If the former avoid the listing.
$15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

Lots of the General's cronies/and the old boy himself exiting their formerly cherished commerce via the NSE. Pause for thought.
