Wazuans,

I have always been tempted to assume that CFC Stanbic has a lot of unutilized potential. Their results however always a dissapointment.

Moreover most investment recomendations on the banking sector exclude cfc. Does any Wazuan have some research/analysts recommendations on this bank?

Please send me a copy at trisha_mugerwa@yahoo.com.

My view, right or wrong is that zulu firms venture into the continent specifically to repatriate as much as they can in the shortest time. I haven't never seen their accounts, wouldn't be surprised that they have a huge 'management fee expense' payable to Standard Bank, hence the consistent under-performance as compared to peers.

@GG the majority owners of the zulu bank are now the chinese. @bf cfc swings between the 40s and the 80s. Use technical tools, buy at 40 sell at 80. Repeat for sure wealth lol. The cycle is complete every 2-3 yrs

The Cfc stanbic Holdings (Cfcstanbic bank+cfc financial services) reported 68% y/y growth in Q1 profits let's see if they can keep the momentum going in coming quarters.
