i am interested in growing apples but the trees i have are from quite old varieties and the fruits are not pleasing to the eyes..i would like to get a few modern trees,preferably with fruits very much like the ones in the market...any one with ideas on where to look? will appreciate. Try the KARI that is near you. If they dont have they will advice you where to get. They ones you have may look that way coz the environment is not favorable. Lord, thank you!

Bought some plants from Drive- In Area before the supper highway construction. Only on survived and now i have started enjoying the fruits.
I have planted them somewhere off Kamiti road..so kiambu area climate is okay. But the birds starts munching them early and i have to cover them with polythene

There is some sort of nursery hapo mbele ya mamba village,they have grafted apple seedlings which they assured me they do well,they have planted a few around the same place and they are doing good... possunt quia posse videntur
