0730-1700...then 2100-0100 on average...

though if you ask some civil servants, they will say they report at 0800 and leave at 1700...but actual work hours might be abt 4 smile

@ Rollout, type in your hours, and we'll tell you how you compare with the average employee in your own country, and the average across 34 developed nations.

Am I the only one reading between the lines here?

Maybe its cz am female and we see 'things' men don't.

What I understand by that question is 'when do you guys work when you are in wazua all day long?

They assist madam admin to user people and threads, disable the politics section etc. One of them might be the 'user' who follows a certain paranoid wazuan who had to start a thread about it!Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

Other ['less serious'] duties would include marketing, selling advertizing space, meeting with clients [the likes of whom we are never allowed to discuss here], search engine optimization, trouble shooting errors etc. Oh, did I mention that they might have this crazy notion that they should have servers - which might need admins!

On a serious note, it is not a joke to run a website. Can you Google how many employees Facebook has. Let's not even talk about Google. You don't just design a website, host it and take a hike! Not if you are planning to make money off it!

funny people.
@maichblack
Comparing FB to Wazua is similar to committing an unpardonable sin.
Use a forum like Ghanaland not fb.
We all know that a social networking site has more traffic = more work= more staff=more cash
Some forums I know start as biz then slowly become social to make more money.
But Wazua can retain its uniqueness by sticking to stocks only instead of venturing into other boards whose contents they can't withstand.
They should see political debates in other forums to make them realise that wazuans are cool and tamed.

Those intent on making money don't sensor people ovyoovyo cz that takes away the spice.
Did u say meeting 'clients?' To report us for discussing them or what?

Hapa iko chida!!!

I am not insinuating that wazua has comparable number of employees to fb. I was try to explain that a website is a business like any other and naturally has employees - 2 or 2000 is not the issue.

The issues was whether wazua has employees or not. I referred you to fb and/or Google because their employee numbers are publicly available. Employee numbers Ghanaland [never heard of it] or even nationmedia might not be publicly available! Werewanga? Wa-understand-aga??

Well It's absurd to even think of that.I didnt.
You also failed to decipher what I meant when I asked you not to compare a social network site to a biz one.
It's not if or not it has staff cz that is common knowledge.
I was interested in finding out the nature of their work so as to determine what keeps them busy because of its size.

Fb=social=more taffic=more work=more staff=more hours.
Wazua=biz=less traffic cz kenyans love drama more=less work=less staff.

Ok just let it be.smile

Shirking behaviour . You say you work for 10 hours a day while 3 hrs of this are spent in Wazua and doing other unofficial tasks . And by the way those agents who claim to work for 14 hrs how ar you compensated by the principal (employer).
Peace be with you
