I know how hey recovered profits in H2.
They are stealing from us in Data. 10mb is over in less than 2 hours of surfing, no downloads, no back ground applications running. Its theft. Like download a 200kb item fresh from loading the 10mb daily data, you get the text that the bundle is below 1.0mb. my friends have reported the same occurrences.

Stop complaining and use the other options available. That's why there are four telcos and another number of data providers. Choose what works for you.

So far Mpesa volumes are 51M and AK is approaching 900K. Seems someone is moving into these two counters after the KDN hardship story. Both counters have demand over running supply...

It could also mean hard times for AK since it & KDN have some overlap. Safaricom is the 800 pound gorilla, dominating the retail market while pushing into the corporate market too.

Many SMEs find it cheaper to give modems to the employees even in the office rather than use a fixed leased data line.

Orange will give SMEs free modems if they sign up for the unlimited Orange monthly package.
