Hehehehe, Shareholders of this are being blinded with instant gratification. This is not a son/daughter leaving his parents.

Timing, timing timing!!! With the discovery of Oil this is the goose that lays the golden egg. In 10 years, you might buy this goose at a very very very high premium at the London Stock Exchange, with deep regret.

If I had it, I would stay put for 10 years at least, given the choice. That's when the eggs will be golden.

Isn't the AGM today? If it is, then they closed yesterday.
It's confusing but I think it is 30th April according to my broker.

@thedeal - Thanks!

thanks all. I managed to exit at 12.60 today after getting in at 9.30 on Dec 20, 2011. That's around 30pc nett!I can always join in later.

Yeah funny indeed. I am also waiting for the EFT, in the same boat.

I BGL may not even sell to PUMA after all, i will stay put mpaka a time when a mandatory offer is the only option. The way this PUMA energy is making acquisitions in Africa points to some goodies which they want to exclude us from. If Jacob I Segman stays as CEO i am not selling....PERIOD.

5 to 10 yrs down the line we may have a Mega IPO and those who hanged around will reap big.
