Any one with this experience ?

Please guide me on how to print my CDSC statement.

The last I received via email from CDSC was for August 2010

Thanks.

@Young, CDSC has a secure portal where you can view [and print] your statement. Visit www.cdsckenya.com - navigate to the portal

You need to be registered first before you can use your CDSC # as the log-in to the portal. I can't quite recall the registration process, coz I got in during their pilot phase.

For any further information, contact their Customer Care Desk on 2229407 Ext. 319, or send us them an email on helpdesk@cdsckenya.com

if you furnished the CDSC with your email addess they always send you a statement on the mast trading day of the month showing you all the transactions that took effect on your account. make a point of updating them.

Hope you got your statement by e-mail. It is great & comes on time. You will only get statements for the months you trade or have a transaction e.g. Bonus, Rights, etc.

BTW, if you give them your bank account number, they will send the dividend by EFT

It seems CDSC have not been updating my online statement. Is it just me or are there other people experiencing the same problem.

It takes them quite a while to update their records after I make purchases. From experience, it has at times taken up to 3-4 weeks to see a transaction I made. If they don't update yours at all then try raising it with them. Good luck.

EFT of dividend to a foreign bank account s almost an impossible task because as you know dividend is ksh denominated.
Your best best as a non resident is to set up a local bank account mainly for dividend payment in Kenya. Besides there is a procedure to link your bank account to CDSC. There is a standard form to collect from your broker that will be endorsed by both your stock broker and your local bank and submited through your broker to CDSC.
With this arrngement your future dividends will be
credited to your kenya bank account.

I am a non resident foreign investor and this was exactly what I did a few years back.

Hope this helps ?

itsNOT "almost an impossible task' its actually IMPOSSIBLE because when registering your bank using the cdsc online system there's no option for foreign banks just local ones !
