KPLC and pre-paid meters

Hi Wazuan,
In my house i have the prepaid meter fitted,and afetr the several power problems we've had in the recent past,my meter could no show the units on the screen - it was blank.
I called one of the guys in the estate doing the fittings and he was like,mathe si utatoa kachai and he just demanded for 1K,so i told him kama ni hiyo wachana nayo na uende.
my question is,when we have issues with this meters just who are supposed to call to our rescue coz even the KPLC guys in the offices are not helping at all.

Now u scare me cz the frequent blackouts could do the same to mine.
But I think you are the relaxed one here.
When you call customer care in these offices take down the name of the person you spoke to and follow it up with them cz its very annoying to keep repeating the same story to every t,d and h at customer care.Rem u aren't the only one complaining.
Then keep calling and ask to speak to that specific person.That's what I do and I save their contacts for future ref.
Or better still walk in there and don't leave till u get sorted.
Then these guys who were installing the meters don't work for KPLC!They are electricians on contract.Well that's what they told me.So why ask them to rectify a problem that is purely kplc's?
He will eat ur money and ur meter box could still have issues.Go to the source.
