Does anyone remember the Syoks residents demonstrating over construction along a waterway? The place I hear is owned by a certain prominent politician - they even produced a different set of maps that did not have the waterway marked.

Now with the rains pounding heard, 'syoks river' is full!! Can the maps be verified now?Laughing out loudly smile Applause

It's interesting you bring this up... just yesterday, I was in Syokimau. Those who built along the water way are paying... some have built right in the middle of river... in some places the fences have given way... I wonder how long some of those houses will hold!

I think it's time some of us Kenyans learnt the hard way... how someone got convinced to buy a plot right in the middle of a swamp baffles me.

Problems can get out of proportion, and not only in the wee small hours. Don't let the problems eclipse the Master. Let the Master eclipse the problems.

I thought those guys have enough resources to raise the banks to avoid the flooding.
