[Imitating Christ's Humility] “If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ,if any comfort from his love,if any fellowship with the Spirit,if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded,having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.” Phil 2:1-2

John 5:39-44

Quote:
39 You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, 40 yet you refuse to come to me to have life.

41 “I do not accept glory from human beings, 42 but I know you. I know that you do not have the love of God in your hearts. 43 I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. 44 How can you believe since you accept glory from one another but do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?
'......to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.' Colossians 2:2-3

Have you ever listened to a preacher and something catches your attention and really makes you think?

I was watching Joyce Meyer yesterday and she said one of the things causing the biggest problem in the modern generations is the doubt brought by the evolution theory.

"How can a child who is made to believe that he evolved from a monkey and is fighting in a 'survival for the fittest' fight start believing that God had a purpose for him?"

That statement hit me and it's true that this believe opens up room for evil and hopelessness for our children.

Take your kids to church/temple/mosque and teach them to believe in something bigger than themselves. Teach them about God or they will live a hopeless life.

BBI will solve it

@2012 I saw the sermon ...but I was not supportive of that argument..Evolution and faith are two different things .... as a christian you base your belief on faith by hoping on unseen God...while in evolution the scientist offer theory and evidence to back their arguments.

A christian is someone who faced with overwhelming evidence of evolution still believes in a God he has never seen....Thats Faith ,the beauty of Christianity/Religion.

Eph 2:4 ¶ But God, being full of mercy, through the great love which he had for us,
5 Even when we were dead through our sins, gave us life together with Christ (by grace you have salvation),
6 So that we came back from death with him, and are seated with him in the heavens, in Christ Jesus;
7 That in the time to come he might make clear the full wealth of his grace in his mercy to us in Christ Jesus:
8 Because by grace you have salvation through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is given by God:
9 Not by works, so that no man may take glory to himself.
10 For by his act we were given existence in Christ Jesus to do those good works which God before made ready for us so that we might do them.
All you can do is all you can do; but all you can do is enough!
