JACKAL NEWS - Blood has been oozing out of the right breast of Ugandan activist Ingrid Turinawe after ruthless police groped, pulled and pounded them on Friday, last week. She has been in piecing pain.

Ugandan police are known for record-level torment in dealing with public protests. But the harassment of Turinawe is way too shocking. And this is not the first time. In 2008 police arrested MP Nabilah Sempala, and in front of cameras, lifted up her skirt in an unapologetic bid to humiliate her.

Now, in this video (above) carried by NTV Uganda on Friday night, male police officers are seen groping and pulling her right breast repeatedly. And after being arrested, the abuse did not end.

''In the van, they hit me bad. I don’t know why they were targeting the breasts. Blood keeps on coming and I have to pad it all the time… I keep on changing the cotton wool. You are men, you don’t know how the breast pains,'' the activist told NTV reporters in Kampala on Saturday.

Turinawe has been a vocal activist in Uganda over the past several years. She has been part of a pressure group called Activists for Change (A4C) which was led by the colourless opposition politician Kizza Besigye. A4C was behind Walk to Work protests.

A4C was banned. In place, activists came up with For God and my Country (4GC). It was on Friday launch of 4GC that Uganda police in the full glory. ''Those breasts are way too big, and the policeman was checking to see if she's hiding a bomb in there,'' some idiot posted on YouTube, commenting on Turinawe's mistreatment.

Police are not apologetic over the mistreatment of the activist. And even heart-rending is that there

That silly cop ought to be so ashamed of himself...he did not do it once and he actually got a palmful...if you must touch some, then go to your spouse.....bure kabisa

or go to a supermarket and fondle avocados and mangoes like magigi's friend

on a serious note this is demeaning to women and should NOT be allowed to happen in this day and age....shindwe

Its actually demeaning to the whole society. These are our mothers, wives, sisters and daughters. Uganda needs to rise above this state of police brutality.

I agree not unless there is another 'uncensored' clip in the media.

Those policemen were brutal and mannerless, they make Kenya Police look like angels! Remember Besigye and the pepper spray incident?
