Trash trash trash everywhere. You just need to travel to any African nation (except Somalia) and see how dirty we are.
Peace in our Homeland.

eh! kamudu are u from space??

You think Nbo is dirty? Go to lagos.
Now instead of talking and complaining, act!
Truth is,we have come along way.We never used to have trash bins in the city,no public toilets, street boys wrecked havoc, people spat and peed everywhere there was a wall.It was a jungle and smelly city.
Now we have tried and we are doing better than few african nations.

Note this; The city will never be clean no matter how much the council tries if we remain dirty in our own homes.
The way people treat dirt in the city is a reflection of how they are at home.
Some behaviours cannot be eradicated through education.

it starts with the individual, if you dispose your trash in a good manner and everyone does it then the place will be clean. Also city laws can enforce like they did in rwanda. they even have a cleaning day over there I hear.

Ngai! umeenda sana

I always close my eyes cz some images take long to leave my mind.
But I agree that the outskirts are neglected.Hapo ndio individual responsibility comes to play.
I hate it, we hate it but even if u gave trash bins to some people, they will never make good use of them.Atatupa rubbish next to the bin!

Its mentality reinforced by this advert

@essyk, You seem to be digging @kamudu. I think what @kamudu is doing is highlighting the problem we are having. Where he/she is from, going to Lagos [which is in Africa] etc,is not important.
What is important is acting, everyone being responsible.
Being irresponsible in Kenya is treated as "ujanja". On the roads, work place, in pubs, everywhere. Nobody wants to be responsible for their deeds.
Look at the hawkers, the places they operate from, gives them daily bread yet they can't keep those spaces clean.
They'll litter in the name of "kanjo kazi yake ni?". Mind you the bastards don't pay anything meaningful to the said kanjo.
It has a lot to do with the IQ of most of us.
We need a tough leader,a people's dictator to instill discipline in Kenyans.
A guy of Michuki mold.
