Gasp! KK is my retirement plan ;-)

1) Will KK benefit from Turkana oil? YES. How? Coz econ activity will increase & KK is Kenya's #1 OMC

2) Will KK issue an Interim Dividend? YES, if you listen to the CEO but it will be based on 1H 2012 EPS.

''Furthermore, demand in Kenya alone for gasoline, diesel and other fuels is expected to more than triple in the next 20 years to about 14.45 million metric tonnes annually, NOCK figures show.''

The govt. came up with plans for ethanol-blended petrol 3 YEARS AGO. Don't know what happened about that...
But even if the system had come online, Mumias has always been a few years late in commissioning its projects. For them it's a case of ''I'll see it to believe it''

For once Kenol bus has been fueled, now boarding @ 12.50.
This is the one year high as well as all time high factoring splits correct me if im wrong.

Minimal supply of 5,000 at 12.70!

I dont envy you, tough decision, but really simple: If you are selling not keen on coming back, sell.
If you are selling hoping to come back in lower, that's where it gets tricky, your call.

Ha ha. i like this. supply has come in at 13.30 at the roof of ten percent, pinning for a 10%, i like these mind games, should give the bids food for thought.

I doubt its dividends..... From 10.00 to 11.50 could be attributable to dividends. but from 12.00 upwards its something else.
Though you could be right.....interim dividends. but nah, too early.

Wow. what a question to ask here. we'll be polite. I know at least 4 investment banks that have given this stock a buy recommendation each more than once in the last 2 yrs.

Fuel prices will go up...so the stock is rallying...good to have one or two catalysts of inflation in your portfolio.
