So unfortunate that E tv won't be available anymore

I will miss Rythm City and WWE Raw sana

Nation media should have given us at least a one week notice

Q TV is full of manilla soap operas. Can't stand it!!

this QTV is clearly not adding value to us. its just another soap opera filled station.

Kiss TV News has given me a welcomed relief at 8 pm. at least there is something else to watch other than tired soaps

mid and lower income segment. Also rural folk. Strategy similar to that of QFM which did better than Easy FM. Will miss medical detectives on E Africa.

I think this segment is currently well served by Citizen and KBC. Perhaps the Swahili tilt will help carve a niche for Q Tv

Applause Applause Applause Applause Applause
Etv was so annoying. I once wrote a comment on their FB funpage about the annoying ads then they replied ati they do that coz ads are their main biz. that is a fact but what I dont understand is who will be the audience and clients when you annoy your viewers with ads of your program linup every 5 mins n 'did you know' facts that you repeat for ages. some people need to know market research.
good riddance

When will our marketers ever learn than so-called "line-extention' doesn't work?

You have a popular product called "XYZ-product", so you start a new line called "XYZ-something" in order to ride on the popularity of the name "XYZ"

Sounds like a good idea, but in reality, it doesn't work! It actually weakens the original XYZ name.

There is a strong newspaper called "NATION"; they branched into broadcasting and started Nation FM and Nation TV...

The two performed so poorly and even started weakening the "Nation" name for the newspaper market.

They were revamped and re-issued as NTV and Easy FM... still didn't do too well but... at least surviving.

Then came a new kid in the stable: QFM.... according to @l o l e s t (above) this id doing better than Easy FM. So NMG thinks they can ride on the "Q" popularity and have created QTV

My prediction: it will flop flat on it's belly! This is a non-starter!
