For me, it's going to be my best year since 2006!
I have my eyes on Uchumi, Cables, Tranny for speculative stocks & KCB, KK and Scom as investments!

I am waiting to see who will write an article reading "NSE the worst market in Africa". As soon as that headline hits the press, I'll be buying bluechips. Mr Market has a weird way with psychology d'oh! smile

hisah, if I'm not wrong, I believe we already saw that headline last year, ama?

Foreigners divest Sh715m as economic fears take toll
Foreign investors have taken out more than Sh715 million of their equity investments at the stock market in 11 months to November, setting the NSE on course to recording the first net sell-off by international participants in three years. Weighed down by rising preference for safer assets amid increasing economic uncertainty spawned by the debt crisis in Europe and soaring inflation in Kenya, the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) reported heavy sell-offs from foreign investors amounting to Sh8 billion against purchases of Sh7.2 billion.

The choice of words describing the disaster at NSE is quite interesting. One would think the so called advanced economies are the best thing in town!

When high profile reports like this start showing up, smart money is usually snooping around. Let's see what they do next year in March. Remember Le Prof (Ndungu) said by Feb 2012 things will be better...

Yep. Le Prof was on point. And seems like smart money was indeed snooping around...
