which modem were u using to get the airtel 3g coz they have blocked the unlocked safaricom 3g modems from using their network....lol

Data is undoubtedly the next frontier; it will be interesting to see how it unfolds as competition hits the market. I hear Safaricom LTE is awaiting spectrum availability and approval to hit the airwaves. But the trial l understand has been successful. There is still a long way to go for 3G however ............ from the HSPA 21Mbps, the next step is HSPA MIMO 28Mbps, then DC HSPA 42Mbps, then HSPA ++ at 84Mbps. So it will be interesting as operators try to undo each other with one offering a better speed than it did yesterday etc etc. But you and l will be the winners ....

yeah because you are on bundles. what do you expect because they want you to finish up those bundles very fast so you can buy more .
you donot know the tourture of their 'unlimited' Internet

airtel have uncapped they had capped it earlier)theirs. try them out i was downloading torrents with over 300 KB/s . streaming youtube video is smooth no buffering .
am yet to hear anybody using airtel and complaining .
i dnt work there but their service is good

you can use yu. for 500/= you get one month unlimited.
Disclaimer: you have to be really patient and immune to frustration. Woe unto you if you want to download anything beyond 100MB.

Where did you read that? The speedtest Harry shared shows that Safcom is FASTER than 74% of KE!! Grade B
