@kourage, have been considering purchasing a two-bed apartment at Migaa but as an investment for rental purposes. Is this a good idea and when will they be completed?

@xtina; For rental purposes, currently no. But for investment purposes, i would encourage you to take. Construction work started two weeks ago and i can assure you by the time phase one is over, the units will be going for more than 10m. Phase 1 will be complete around March 2013. There are other facilities coming up within Migaa that will support rental business later. Already, there some UK doctors who will be breaking the ground for an ultra modern hospital in Migaa, complete with a helipad, sometimes in July or thereabouts. Can give me your email i post more information to you.

Clearly everybody agrees here that your future spouse will provide shelter elsewhere, or you can ask him to buy your apartment back to it if by the time marry you are already too attached to it to move.
Are you kidding me??? Who would want to do that? Buy an apartment off you wife so that the both of you can [continue to] live there? Is that a joke?
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

@Lolest, yes you can speculate. Given the size of the project (774 acres), it will take three to five years before it is fully built. If you invest for rental purposes, in the short run you may be frustrated but in the long run it will pay off handsomely. From an insider perspective, this is the time to buy. @Frangipani, i have sent some information to your email.

@xtina Have you checked the property classifieds for the current properties on sale in the market? You can try noticeboard.co.ke, dealfish, villacare, etc
