Is it true that the C2oo Kompressor is problematic? i really fancy that model but one ex-dobie mech told me to keep clear. Any advise?

Specifically which parts of the C200 (YEAR???) did the mechanic say are problematic? Engine? Gearbox? General build of the car? Aircon? Radio? Sun-visor? etc.

Without being specific, it's doubtful you'll get any reasonable answer to your question.

The cluster fails and he also mentioned something abt the engine - cant recall what it was. YoM 2000 - 2005

I heard the same non-sense from so many mechanics prior to acquiring an E200 Kompressor. They said the supercharger fails blah blah blah..

The only issue with the Mercedes Benz cars is only the fading headlamps, malfunctioning brake lights and leather seats that seem to crack.

Otherwise, in terms of running the car is superb. Its economical and powerful which to me is the best of both worlds.

Aha, that's a much more recent model, but tell me about it. I asked, so your modesty will not be compromised. smile
