Kasheshi,u actually have a point there.
According to me though,NTV may be indirectly reacting to the in-roads that Citizen is making and the recent program re-aligning of KTN. Did you notice that on KTN hot series moved back to prime time e.g. CSI,Law and order,4400 etc. NTV have also now changed their schedule.
It's all about keeping pace with competition. If u cant beat them...

I am not sure I understand what NTV is aiming at with its recent re-branding. I noted when KTN re-branded last it was looking for balance since it had earlier displayed quite a bit of imbalance. When you look at KTN's signature you note something similar to Yin and Yang. (I wonder whether this is deliberate or sheer coincidence). Often,KTN seems to strike a chord with its mass audience appeal. I feel that NTV would do better to shift more towards a mass appeal. It makes no sense for a broadcaster to over-segregate its audience in the contemporary world. Our banks too have learned that it is counter-productive to take general populace for granted.
