I have used the same line on some internet addicts but I stopped after discovering what people do with their lives is really none of my biz.
Online stuff can only be productive if what you learn or engage in is translated into real life otherwise it becomes useless.
Its also possible to never be online but live a junkie kind of life.ie Being everywhere,everytime doing everything,but less productive.
A life of quantity not quality.
