Quote:success is the journey not a destination
@ digitek ur answer leaves me with more questions.
How is success a journey if success is defined as
'The achievement of something desired, planned, or attempted:
'Its an end product not a process.
Quote:@essyk success is very relative, to a professor publishing in a high impact factor journal ans being recognized as an authority is the epitome of success, to some people is how much they are worth in property that counts as success, While to others it is changing the lives of others. So your definition of success wont suit everyone else
Now that makes lots of sense.Thank u.
So that guy in kibera slum whose main goal in life was to have say 8 kids and 3 wives and he has managed to do it can call himself successfull.
After all he achieved his desire.
Who determines if you are successful then,is it the society or yourself??? Why should we therefore judge those who have achieved their goals even if the goals only increased the society's burden?
It's really difficult to say its relative even though it is.
"The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.
