As a 'wire' shareholder, i do not expect anything good from it. I heavily bought this wire thing at 14.7/- and can't even try to 'trim' down at 11/-. Too risky a stock, with every Kamau, Singh and Hussein making endless trips to China for Hardware goods (wire included)! Hoping it won't be another Paka! Receive with simplicity everything that happens to you.” ― Rashi

They have always been one of the first companies always to report their end year results. They have delayed a lot this time and this seems to have negative impact on their share price. There is a supply of 101,200 shares today vs a demand of only 300 shares.

There is a supply of 101,200 shares today vs a demand of only 300 shares. Ever since the trans-century IPO, I started believing that East African cables was a kitchen for Transcentury. Unfortunately for Cables shareholders, no amount of cooking can make Transcentury results look good. That is what Mwangi is realizing. But the wise shareholder FLEES AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE FROM such funny shares.

I have learnt that before investing you should really look at the dynamics of a company, look at it wholistically before you put any money into them...for me I think i,l just stick to the traditional B.B.C investing... possunt quia posse videntur

I would think some of the shareholders of Tranny got in "following the money". Why not "belong" with the who-is-who in Kenya's prominent entrepreneurs?. The IPO flew on that craze and buzz. Just thinking.

IMO, Tranny's intro price was too high and only backed by hopium fundamentals. A downward re-rating was in order. Untill they release worthy results share-holders will remain in the cooler. As for EA Cables, their products still have market their challenge lies in cost of inputs especially International metal prices, apart from that, I'd sleep better at night "after" (read with) Cables

If cables does well TCL will do well both companies have a bright future..I don't own shares in any of the two companies due to various reasons I.e cash which is a scarce commodity..
